As promised, I wrote a step-by-step article illustrating how to create your own custom shutdown button that will work with XP and Windows 2003 Server. Even if you don’t have shutdown problems, this handy little button makes shutting down your computer a one-click proposition.

Thank you so much for this handy little button. It worked perfectly.

This worked great, but only got me back to the “Click on username” screen – I still couldn’t shutdown from there. I have two separate users on my computer.
I searched for the nvidia files, but no such luck. Any clues? Windows XP SP3,
Thanks!
